St Vincent’s Catholic Primary School is looking for an amazing teacher to join our team from September. We are looking for applicants who have experience of teaching across at least one key stage previously and we are happy to hear from ECT and experienced teachers alike.

We would like to hear from teachers who have high expectations of pupils, both in their learning and their behaviour, and who will challenge and motivate them in creative ways. We also want people who are dynamic and not afraid to try something new! You should be willing to participate in the Catholic life of our school but do not need to be Catholic yourself.

St Vincent’s School is a successful, warm and friendly 1.5 form entry Barnet primary and nursery school, with a strong caring ethos. We have fantastic children who deserve the very best learning opportunities. Our children’s behaviour is exemplary and they are keen and motivated to learn. Our school is set in beautiful grounds – 15 acres of outdoor space which includes a thriving Forest School. Our staff team are supportive and caring, wellbeing is a focus and we have a strong commitment to innovative professional development.

As part of our commitment to Racial Justice, Equality and Diversity, we welcome applicants from a range of diverse backgrounds.

Safeguarding Statement

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and require all staff and volunteers to share and demonstrate this commitment. The successful candidate will be subject to pre-employment checks which will include an enhanced DBS, the Children’s Barred List check, an online search and satisfactory references.
