Physical Education Curriculum Intent
Our intention is that all young Vincentians will experience success as a physically literate individual both in school and in the wider community. Children will leave our school being able to meet the physical demands of their environment and thus know the importance of a healthy, balanced and active lifestyle.
Physical Education is designed to ensure all children have the physical capability and knowledge to meet the needs of their current environment and give them the skills to deal with physical, social and personal challenges that may arise as they grow. Children can learn to participate, lead, observe, review and reflect on their own progress in one small activity in a way that will provide them with instantaneous visible results.
