“How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity!”
Psalm 133.1

LKS2 have been sewing!

The children in year 3 and 4 have been learning how to do a running stitch and a cross stitch.

As part of their project based learning, they have been answering the driving question, ‘Can we Judge a Book by its Cover?’ The children have looked at inspirational figures who may have been judged by their ‘front cover’ such as Rosa Parks, Stephen Lawrence, Greta Thunberg, George Floyd, Stephen Hawking etc.

They have chosen an inspirational figure they have been inspired by and decided to stitch them together using materials and adding detail by sticking other bits on. They will then create their own poems and music to re tell the story of their figure and how they were judged by their ‘front cover’.
