Today during assembly all classes performed our chosen poems to the school. Oak class performed the poem “If All the Seas were One Sea”.
It is a classic poem that, in the simplest of terms, discusses what the world would be like if everything was all together in one sea. We chose it because we like the repeating rhyme and it made us laugh at the end.
The poem also links to our learning in RE on the Creation story and to the Vincentian Value of looking after the environment.
