Our forest school has been well loved by pupils across the school for many years now. This year, UKS2 took on a project, with the support of Mr McKaye, to allow our current forest to regenerate and so we relocated to a new area of woodland. The main aim was to ensure that our new forest school would be sustainable and biodiverse so that it can be enjoyed by our current pupils, pupils in the future and by a whole host of wildlife too. The children worked hard to design, plan and create the new forest school which is a fantastic legacy to leave. They created models of the new forest as part of their DT work and were proud to share this ‘extension’ of the school with the Daughters of Charity, without whom we would not be here today.
