Holly Class & Willow Class prepare the polytunnel…

The reception children spent Tuesday morning preparing the polytunnel for new growth.
They worked together to ensure all the weeds were cleared and put into the compost bin.

Everyone worked very hard using our special gardening gloves and tools. Great efforts!

What a fantastic result! The children developed some amazing team working skills as well as perseverance and resilience. These are all characteristics of effective learning which we love to see in EYFS!
