Anti-Bullying Week is an annual UK event which aims to raise awareness of bullying and to highlight ways of preventing and responding to it.
This year the theme is ‘Reach Out’, which aims to empower children to counter the harm and hurt that bullying causes.
Last year, 80% of schools marked Anti-Bullying Week in their calendars, meaning it reached over 7.5 million young people! This year, Anti-Bullying Week will encourage children to reach out and show others the support they need. At St Vincent’s, we all completed different work in our classes and showcased them to the whole school.
We wore odd socks to celebrate our uniqueness and individuality.
It helped us to understand who we could go to for help or how we might help others.
