The 28th January was Racial Justice Sunday, a special day in our church calendar where we pray that everyone will be treated fairly regardless of where they are from, what they look like and what they believe. In school, we held phase liturgies to introduce the theme – seeing ourselves in the life of the church – and we held class liturgies finding out about saints and special people from around the world. In response to these liturgies, pupils wrote prayers and researched saints and people from countries and countries special to them.
