On Friday 16th September, we were very proud to have been invited to attend a Commemorative Service at Mill Hill Cemetery organised by the Greater London Authority & Barnet War Memorials Association and supported by the Dutch Embassy. It is tradition in the Netherlands, that each year school children lay flowers on the graves of Allied soldiers who died in WWII, and as Mill Hill Cemetery have an area of graves dedicated to Dutch soldiers, we reciprocated the service held in the Netherlands here. The children from UKS2 who were selected to attend were fantastic role models for our school. They listened well, asked fantastic questions and were incredibly respectful, understanding the importance of the occasion. Well done everyone!
