Support for Parents

We want to direct you to some resources you may find useful to support your children’s mental health and wellbeing during this time. You may have noticed some challenging behaviours, a difference in their self-esteem and not showing as much motivation so please look below to see if you can receive some support.

Barnet Integrated Clinical Service (BICS; CYP and families mild to moderate mental health services) are offering a series of free wellbeing workshops for children/young people, parents/carers which will be delivered online. CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service) have introduced a new helpline for people experiencing a mental health crisis:

24-hour Crisis Telephone Service: 0800 151 0023

You can call this number to get help or advice in a crisis from trained mental health advisors and clinicians, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
