The month of November is a time of remembrance. We remember our loved ones who have died, and we remember servicemen and women who have died in conflicts of the past.
Across the school, children have been taking part in remembrance activities across the curriculum. We have been writing poems, making poppies, participating in prayer and worship and writing letters.
Today, the whole school, along with pupils across the country, fell silent at 11am for two minutes. We are fortunate from our location to hear the cannon fire to mark the start and end of our two minute silence. The children behaved exceptionally, understanding the importance of the event.
