Raft Building

UKS2 have been reading ‘The Explorer’ by Katherine Rundell. In one of the early chapters, the children build a raft using materials they find in the Rainforest to help them travel down the river. We challenged the children to make their own rafts using lollypop sticks and tape. Their rafts had to float for at least 3 minutes and had to hold the weight of two Lego characters!
