Today is Ash Wednesday which marks the start of Lent. UKS2 attended mass at Sacred Heart Church this morning to receive their ashes – their behaviour was exceptional! The rest of the school received ashes in school – LKS2 shared an assembly with Fr Robert; KS1 had a special liturgy in their classrooms and Reception were visited by Sr Anne. It was a busy but wonderfully prayerful day!
